James D.’s artistic talents have blossomed in his retirement years. He is a beloved resident of The Hamptons of Tyler Senior Living community.
Born in 1933, James discovered a passion for woodworking at age 60. Since joining The Hamptons of Tyler, he has further nurtured his hobby in retirement and impressed staff and fellow residents with his intricate creations, all crafted from wood. James has been married for 72 years to his beloved wife, Earlene, who has been a constant source of support and inspiration.
From beautiful decorative pieces to a remarkable violin, James’ work exemplifies the potential for continued growth and discovery throughout life.
