It feels like home; the friendliness of the staff spills over into the residents as well. When there is a new face or couple in the dining room, many, many residents go over to introduce themselves and will even sit down and eat with them - it's that kind of homey feeling. What also stands out to me is the employee(s) at the front desk are always so friendly and welcoming. Whether you're brand new, coming in for the first time, or a resident who's been there a while, they always have a friendly greeting, and I think that's very, very important. We lived somewhere else prior to The Brooks, and the difference is, this feels like home and not an organization.”
