Ageless Grace is a fun, cutting-edge brain fitness program that activates all five functions — strategic planning, memory and recall, analytical thinking, creativity and imagination, and kinesthetic learning — through movement. It’s based on the concept of neuroplasticity, which is the ability of the brain and nervous system to continually change its structure and function throughout our lives to keep us youthful and vital. Since neuroplasticity occurs specifically when stimulated by various physical activities, it also simultaneously addresses all 21 physical skills needed for lifelong optimal mobility and function.
A typical Ageless Grace session is set to music and involves exercises like stretches, rhythmic motion, miming sports such as swimming or baseball, and drawing shapes or letters with different body parts. These exercises are performed seated, are easy to learn, and offer a variety of benefits such as joint mobility, improved balance, spinal flexibility, right-left brain coordination, upper body strength, development of new neural pathways, foot and hand dexterity, and increased self-esteem, confidence, and playfulness. They also promote the ability to respond, react, and recover quickly, efficiently, and safely.
