COVID-19 Response Update 8/26/2021:

Civitas Senior Living is confirming that we have learned that 1 resident at Ariel Pointe Senior Living, located at 3400 Miles Rd, Sachse, TX, has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The community is following local, state, and federal guidelines pertaining to a positive COVID-19 diagnosis in a long-term care facility. The community has implemented quarantine procedures for the entire building effective immediately, and all staff are wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines. Under this order, all residents will be required to remain in their apartments for a 14-day period. All residents and staff members will continue to be screened and monitored frequently for COVID-19 symptoms. We will provide additional information as more information becomes available. This will be our only statement at this time so that we can evaluate the situation and concentrate on protecting our residents, employees, and healthcare professionals. Designated essential caregivers will still be permitted, only for residents testing negative for COVID-19.
