In The Cottage, food is about both nutrition and the experience. Our culinary team in Bradenton offers seniors freshly made meals with warm, friendly service with a resident-centered menu abiding by the latest nutritional guidelines. Individualized dietary monitoring and tailored menu selections are provided as well according to the preferences of our residents.

In The Kitchen is an engaging piece of our activities program. Residents will help create a meal by shucking corn, mixing dough, or whisking batter to complete the selected dish. The Memory Care Coordinator will then take the ingredients into the kitchen to complete the food or snack for everyone to enjoy. We also have Spice Club where residents smell the ingredients and discuss which recipes they could make or have made.

By creating opportunities to engage with our residents using food, we go beyond providing a healthy diet and into another way to connect.
