Senior living community Cambridge Court hosted the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce for an official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The event was made even more special by the presence of Mesquite Mayor Daniel Aleman, Jr., whose parents live at Cambridge Court. In his speech, the Mayor expressed his gratitude for the care his parents have received. “My father is getting very special care, and my mom is in there as well,” he said of his parents to those in attendance. “They just had their 71st wedding anniversary. Cambridge Court has been very special to me, and we’re so grateful for them. “
Fifteen local professionals and business leaders, including Alexander Helgar, President of the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce, were among the guests.
“We’re proud to be part of the Mesquite community, and this ribbon cutting was a great way to celebrate that connection,” said Von Vu, Operations Specialist at Cambridge Court. “We loved welcoming everyone to tour the community, meet our team, and enjoy great company.”
“Over many years, this is the first formal ribbon cutting we’ve done,” Von Vu added. “It’s an honor to mark this milestone and continue our partnership with the Chamber and the local community.”
