Dot Z. went down memory lane on Friday, August 12. The 96-year-old visited the Brown Hotel, where she spent the night on her honeymoon with her husband in 1950.
“We took her in a limo and there was a red carpet rolled out for her,” shares Becky Dunaway, the Activities Director for The Grand, the senior living community where Dot lives. “This was a wonderful experience for her.”
She also told her daughter that this was something that she wouldn’t forget for a long time.
The Brown Hotel provided the meals for free in honor of Dot’s special day for Dot and her best friend. They had fresh flowers ready for her when she arrived. While she was dining, they sat by the baby grand piano as she loves music.
