The Aging 101 Workshop featured expert speakers sharing best practices and essential information to help attendees make informed decisions about aging gracefully. The workshop lineup included:
- Meagan Recinos, a Financial Advisor from Edward Jones, provided “Financial Updates” to help attendees manage their finances effectively during retirement.
- Brian McRae, a Certified Retirement Mortgage Specialist from Fairway, discussed “Putting Your Home Equity to Work in Retirement,” offering valuable insights on leveraging home equity for financial security.
- Valerie Dennis, a Mobile Notary from CenTex, presented “A Tale of Two Parents,” offering practical advice on navigating legal and notarial matters related to aging parents.
This workshop aimed to empower seniors and their families with the knowledge and resources to make educated decisions about aging and retirement. Attendees engaged with industry professionals, asked questions and networked with peers in a supportive and informative environment.
