Legacy Oaks of Midlothian resident Tom Dodge dazzles readers with his wit and humor.

Tom Dodge’s latest book, “Tom Dodge Talks About Texas: Radio Vignettes and Other Observations 1989-1999,” is a collection of his most insightful and entertaining writings about the Lone Star State. The book features a decade’s worth of Dodge’s popular National Public Radio vignettes alongside longer pieces from newspapers and magazines.

Fans of his wry and insightful commentary were excited to revisit familiar themes, from Texas junkyards and railroads to bookstores, horned toads, and the enduring legacy of his grandmother’s homemade grape jelly.
