The Brooks of Cibolo threw a delightful “Miracle Moment” event on Tuesday, October 15 for Betty J. — the community’s resident embroidery superstar.
About Betty and Her Handiwork
Betty, a self-proclaimed embroidery aficionado, has crafted over 300 dazzling embroidered pieces that have brightened the lives of her friends and family.
But here’s the twist: despite her impressive collection, Betty had never received a personalized item for herself!
How We’ve Given Back
The team at The Brooks of Cibolo put their sewing skills to the test by creating a special embroidered tea towel just for her.
And to top it all off, a luncheon followed, allowing Betty to celebrate with all of her loved ones.
“Betty is the thread that binds our community together,” said Sandra LeBlanc, Senior Executive Director of The Brooks of Cibolo. “Her enthusiasm for embroidery and her commitment to uplifting everyone around her embody the heart and soul of The Brooks.
