Here is a list of what the fall 2023 season has in store.
Indoor and Outdoor Fort Worth Area Fall Activities
Museums and Theaters
Our area’s rich cultural scene is perfect for assisted living with memory care residents. The Fort Worth Cultural District, known as the “Museum Capital of the Southwest,” offers the Kimbell Art Museum, the Amon Carter Museum of American Art, and other treasured landmarks. They provide serene, inspiring atmospheres where seniors can engage with art and history; these venues may feature dance, music, and storytelling that can resonate and evoke cherished memories. Keep an eye out for performances at local community centers and theaters, too.
Therapeutic Gardens
Therapeutic gardens in the Fort Worth area can be calming for seniors in assisted living with memory care. They are thoughtfully curated to provide soothing, sensory-rich environments that promote relaxation and well-being. Visit the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, a serene oasis in the heart of the city. With its lush greenery and beautiful blooms, it’s an ideal place to take a leisurely stroll, appreciate nature, and enjoy the tranquility of the outdoors.
Live Music
Fort Worth’s live music scene is legendary. A good choice is Bass Performance Hall, which regularly hosts concerts and performances.
Autumn Festivals
The Fort Worth fall 2023 lineup features a host of festivals, and attending them can provide a sense of connection and enjoyment for assisted living and memory care residents.
Outdoor Adventures
Fort Worth’s mild fall weather is just perfect for outdoor activities like bird watching, picnics, and gentle hikes. Seniors can visit the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge to partake in the natural beauty of the season.

Sundance Square is a lovely place to spend the day or evening, with 35 blocks of galleries, restaurants, historic buildings, and entertainment venues.
