Chief People Officer

Anthony Ormsbee-Hale brings over a decade of experience in senior living management to his role as Chief People Officer at Civitas Senior Living. Since joining Civitas in 2018, Anthony has held various leadership roles, including Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, Vice President of People Operations, and Senior Vice President of Strategic Operations. His strategic leadership in human resources aligns with Civitas’ overarching business goals, emphasizing succession planning, talent management, change management, and organizational performance.

Anthony’s commitment to excellence has been recognized with several accolades, including the 2021 Texas Assisted Living Association HERO Award, a spot on Senior Housing News’s Future Leaders Class, and the Civitas Employee of the Year title in 2022. In 2024, he was also named one of HR Executive Magazine’s five HR Rising Stars.

A lifelong learner, Anthony is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy at Southern Methodist University, enhancing his expertise in policy development and organizational leadership. He holds prestigious certifications such as the Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the Society for Human Resource Management and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Anthony serves on the Texas Assisted Living Association Workforce Development Committee and is a member of the Association for Talent Development and the Society for Human Resource Management. When not at work, he enjoys hiking, reading, and spending quality time with his family and two beagles.
